- Online test (3 problems like the one above with feedback provided at the end of the test)
- ExamView Player Tests (Feedback provided after each question)
- Version C - 3 questions - Always the same ones in the same order.
- Version D - 3 questions - Always different questions!
Notes:
1. These require the free ExamView Player (PC version 6).
2a. Choose "Open with" and choose the ExamView Player and then
choose the test named "9-0 1.1.1.a - Read and use scientific and exponential notation (C or D)".

2b. Choose "Save to disk", save it in a place you'll remember,
and then double-click on it later to make it open with the ExamView Player.
3. Use your name (first name is fine).
4. Use any number for your ID.
5. Take the practice test. Ask the EV Player to score each problem as you go. Use the feedback to learn.
6. Display and optionally print an end of the test report.
Use this as a study guide. Share it with your tutor, parents, and/or teacher.

1. This dynamic ExamView Question is available from the
ExamView Learning Series Samplers for various states and in the Topic Aligned Learning Series.
For Washington State it can be found in the full version of the Learning Series in
"WA 9-10–CONCEPTS AND PROCEDURES -- 1 OF 6" (it's question 4).You can use this question to help create paper, online, or LAN tests.2. ExamView Test (5 different versions of the single dynamic question above)
For formative assessment you can use a version of this question with a distractor of "E. ? - I don't want to guess." This is especially good to use with the Classroom Performance System (CPS) by eInstruction.

- Using paper, LAN, or online testing or with CPS including with the CPS Challenge Board (like Jeopardy).
- For use with CPS - when giving formative assessments (includes a distractor of "E. ...")
Idea: Hand these out to students to check each others' mathcast solutions.
